Frankfurter Sausage Goulash


  • salt and pepper to taste
  • clarified butter to fry
  • 1 dl vegetable bouillon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp. tomato puree
  • 4 pair Frankfurter sausages
  • 1.5 tsp. hot paprika
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

Slice the Frankfurters into approx. 1 1/2 cm thick slices. Heat the clarified butter in a frying pan. Fry the Frankfurters for approx. 2 mins., then remove from the pan. Reduce the heat, wipe the cooking fat from the pan, add a little clarified butter.

Finely chop the garlic, slice the onion, sauté in the clarified butter, sprinkle with paprika. Add the tomatoes and stock, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat, return the Frankfurters to the pan and simmer for approx. 25 mins.
