- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp. clarified butter
- 2 tbsp. crème fraîche
- 1 tsp. mild mustard
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. chives, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp. apple vinegar
- 150 g brown bread
- 4 Frankfurter sausages
- 1 bag leaf salad, ca. 400 g (z.B. JaMaDu Salat)
For the dressing, mix all the ingredients together well.
Cut the bread into approx. 1 cm cubes, then cut the frankfurters diagonally into pieces. Heat the clarified butter in a frying pan, fry the bread for approx. 3 mins. until crisp, add the frankfurters and cook for approx. 2 mins. Put the lettuce into a bowl, mix with the dressing. Add the croutons and frankfurters, then serve.
