Rice and Potato Dishes: Advent Potatoes

Advent Potatoes


  • 4 baked potatoes (approx. 220 g each)
  • 1 leek (ca. 100 g)
  • 80 g celery
  • 1 carrots
  • oil to fry
  • 200 g minced meat (beef)
  • 2 tbsp. ketchup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. rapeseed oil
  • 4 piece aluminium foil
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 2 dl vegetable bouillon
  • 0.5 tsp. cinnamon

Brush the potatoes under running water, pat dry. Coat the potatoes with oil, wrap in foil and place on an oven tray.

Bake for approx. 1 hour in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C. Halve the leek lengthways. Cut the leek and celery into strips. Grate the carrots. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Brown the mince and remove. Reduce the heat, add a little oil if necessary. Sauté the vegetables, adding the ketchup for a short time. Return the meat to the pan. Pour in the stock, add the cinnamon, cover and simmer on a low heat for around 30 mins., season.
