Chicken and Apple with Quinoa


  • oil to fry
  • a little pepper
  • 0.75 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 onion
  • 6 dl vegetable bouillon
  • 200 g quinoa
  • 1 tbsp. curry powder
  • 600 g chicken breast cubes
  • 2 red-skinned apple

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Brown the chicken in portions for approx. 2 mins., remove from the pan.

Chop the onion and cut the apples into segments with the skin still on. Heat the butter in the same pan and sauté the onion and apples. Add the quinoa and curry powder, continue cooking briefly, season.

Pour in the stock, bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for approx. 15 mins. Add the chicken, heat gently.
