Pasta with Mortadella and Peas


  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • saltwater, boiling
  • 0.5 tsp. mild paprika powder
  • 1.5 dl full cream
  • 300 g noodles (z.B. Penne)
  • 100 g Mortadella in Tranchen
  • 200 g frozen peas

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain and keep warm. Chop the onion and cut the mortadella into strips. Heat the oil in the same pan, fry the mortadella, remove. Add the chopped onion, sauté. Pour in the cream, bring to the boil, season. Add the peas and simmer for approx. 2 mins. Add the sauce to the pasta, garnish with the mortadella strips. Season with grated parmesan.
