Beef: Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff


  • 1 tsp. salt
  • a little pepper
  • 1 dl full cream
  • 2 dl meat bouillon
  • 500 g rump of beef, one whole piece
  • 2 red pepper
  • 2 onion
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1.5 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1.5 tsp. Maizena cornflour
  • 100 g dill pickles

Cut the meat into approx. 1 ½ cm cubes, brown all over in hot oil in a frying pan for approx. 2 mins., remove, season.

Finely chop the onions, slice the peppers into strips and slice the mushrooms. Heat the oil in the same pan and sauté the vegetables and paprika for approx. 2 mins. Add stock and bring to the boil.

Stir the cornflour into the cream, pour in, simmer over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins. Cut the gherkins into thin strips, add with the meat and heat gently.
