Small loosening of Geneva restrictions
Geneva is loosening its lockdown regulations slightly.
From Saturday, hairdressers, tattooists, and beauticians will be able to open.
There will also be some allowance for fitness centres to run small groups – of no more than 5, including the trainer.
In all cases, strict safety measure will be in force – such as limited contact and mask wearing.
The cantonal health minister, Mauro Poggia, says the decision has been made to reopen in stages.
But it’s not good news for the struggling hospitality sector. Bars and restaurants will remain closed.
