UK gambler wants his money back after major losses in Zurich
A British gambler says he’s going to take a Zurich casino to court after he lost CHF 1.5m.
31-year-old Henri Cammiade is well known to the casino – regularly gambling thousands.
But his night out was different in January last year. He told the NZZ newspaper he lost more than 100,000 in the few minutes – and then was chauffeured driven back to his apartment to get more cash.
In all during the course of the evening, he was taken back for cash four times.
He claims the casino violated its duty of care as casinos have an obligation to stop people from enormous losses.
A casino spokesman says they do stop people with an obvious gambling problem.
Cammiade says he wants to go to court to force the publication of the security camera footage to prove his point.
