Geneva Pride March cancelled
The Geneva Pride March has been cancelled for this year.
It was due to be held in June, but organizers hoped they would be able to postpone it to next month.
But a decision yesterday means it won’t go ahead at all.
The Geneva Pride Association says it wants to honour its responsibility to protect the public.
But it wants to highlight social distancing rules are a particular problem for minority groups as it leads to further isolation.
The march is scheduled for June next year.
