Bugatti, Porsche and Mercedes collide in extremely expensive car accident
An extremely expensive car accident will have insurers tearing their hair out.
They will have to pay out nearly CHF 4m after three cars collided on the Gotthard Pass yesterday afternoon.
A Bugatti, a Porsche and a Mercedes all collided at the top of the pass. Uri police say the Bugatti driver was in a hurry and tried to overtake – and he hit both other cars.
The high cost is down to the Bugatti. It was the highly exclusive Chiron with a top speed of 420 kph and a price tag of CHF 3m.
There are only 500 in the world – well, now 499 as police confirm the supercar is a write off.
