Several main roads will be closed from 3.30pm, including the Quai Général-Guisan, Rue de Chantepoulet and the Quai Wilson.

Traffic will be restricted on the Mont-Blanc bridge.

Further roads will be closed from 7pm.

Ironically, the first demonstration is against traffic jams being caused by the city extending cycle lanes. That will then be followed by a march calling for more bicycle lanes.

A protest at 7pm will be against alleged police violence and racism and calling for an end to police using choke-holds to detain suspects.
