Geneva International Motor Show finds potential buyers
Potential buyers of the Geneva International Motor Show are emerging.
The foundation, which runs the event - which was canceled this year – says next year’s show will also be scrapped.
It wants to sell the show to the Palexpo, which is being treated as the preferred buyer. A cost of CHF 15m is being touted.
If an agreement with the Palexpo can’t be reached, the current owners say other potential bidders are now also expressing an interest.
The owners hope a deal can be struck before the end of the summer. The car show is worth around CHF 200m to canton Geneva.
