Geneva health minister calls for mask wearing to be mandatory on public transport

In a statement posted on social media, Mauro Poggia, also came out against reducing the social distance measure from 2m to 1.5m.
Although official government advice is to wear masks if the 2m distance can’t be maintained, studies show the vast majority of people still decide not to.
Geneva pubic transport says the number of passengers continues to climb since the end of lockdown. Capacity is now at 60% of pre-virus levels.
