Geneva airport sees queues for first time in weeks
Geneva airport saw something yesterday it hasn’t seen in weeks – queues.
Yes, they were far smaller than before the pandemic, but the airport is showing clear signs of coming back to life.
Staff is making sure travellers have masks and hand sanitizer is available. It’s not necessary to wear the masks at the airport – but many airlines will insist on them when on the plane.
Yesterday there were 30 flights and around 2,000 passengers. Before the crisis, the airport handled around 170 flights a day and 60,000 passengers.
