Only 1 in 10 have developed antibodies against Covid-19 in Geneva
Despite Geneva being one of the worst hit cantons with the coronavirus, a study is suggesting less than 11% of the population have been infected.
The study was carried out by the Geneva University Hospital and the University of Geneva between April and May.
It also shows young children – between 5 and 9 years old are unlikely to be infected and those over 65 are also unlikely to contract the disease. It seems to show the effectiveness of the lockdown.
The study, which has been published in the British medical journal ‘The Lancet’ shows than only one in ten people have developed the antibodies against Covid-19.
