Man in trouble for 'coercion' in apartment building peeing debacle

National News // June 9, 2020

A man who was fed up with people peeing in the entrance hall of his apartment building is now in trouble with the police himself.

Stephan Hafner, who lives in Baden in canton Aargau, installed a camera and then published – unpixelated – pictures of the offenders.

He promised to delete the videos if the person apologized and then donated CHF 100 to charity.

The problem is, that’s coercion – which is illegal – and the local prosecutor is investigating.

But the residents of the building, who are equally fed up with people urinating in the lobby, are supporting Stephan.
