Hopes for International Geneva to gradually restart economic activities
The Covid-19 shutdown has brought an end to International Geneva’s economy – but there is light at the of the tunnel according to the head of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
Vincent Subilia says last year International Geneva was responsible for bringing in CHF 3.5bn.
But there are hopes the UN and agencies will gradually restart activities over the next few weeks.
Subilia says he believes in the long run the crises will be seen as good for Geneva as it shows international cooperation is essential to fight future problems.
