Borders may open in time for beach vacation
Taking a break on a beach could be possible this summer. The Swiss government is in discussion with France, Germany and Austria on opening the borders for tourism in the near future.
During the current crises, many were wondering if it would be possible to head to the coast for a break – tricky if you live in a landlocked country.
A spokesman for the Department of Justice says it should be possible to take a summer vacation in one of those countries – but border openings have to be coordinated.
But the frontier with Italy looks set to be closed for sometime yet.
