Fifth driver accidentally ends up on train tracks in year
For the fifth time since June last year a driver has taken a wrong turn and ended up on the tracks at Sankt Gallen train station.
In all cases except one – the driver was drunk.
To try to stop drivers getting confused, it was only earlier this month new signs and road markings were put in. But it seems it’s still not enough.
The latest driver, like most of the others, failed a breath test and his licence was taken away on the spot. He will have to pay to repair the train tracks.
