Taxi driver faces charges for tasing competition
A Lausanne taxi driver is facing charges after allegedly firing a taser at a competitor in December.
The 66-year-old says he was frustrated at the sight of an unauthorized taxi outside the MAD nightclub. He admits to grabbing a mini taser and shooting it at the driver, who collapsed.
The taxi driver then took the man’s car keys and drove off. He soon returned to give back the keys, at that point he was arrested.
He faces illegal firearms charges for the taser.
