'Top Gear' films at Swiss dam
A crew from the BBC TV show ‘Top Gear’ has been filming in Switzerland. Witnesses captured a stunt when a red sports car was dropped by a bungy cord from the top of the Luzzone dam in canton Ticino.
The BBC is not releasing any information about the film – nor if someone was in the car at the time. The car dropped 200 meters down the side of the dam wall.
Witnesses were too far away to see what brand of car it was or if the figure in the driving seat was real or a dummy.
The local power company that runs the dam has confirmed they allowed the BBC to film.
