Pixabay Sport injures 400,000 Swiss per year

That certainly could be the conclusion following the latest figures from the Accident Prevention Bureau.

On average 182 people die every year in the country while climbing, skiing and having fun in the water.

Another 400,000 are injured.

The numbers take into account all accidents from the year 2000 to 2017. Men are more likely to be killed at 83%.

The bureau says this reflects that men are more likely to take risks. But women are more likely to die horse riding.
