Lucerne taxi driver jailed for rape
A 45 year old taxi driver in Lucerne has been jailed for 7 years after being found guilty of raping an 18 year old Australian student in March 2016.

Since the man was charged – five other women aged between 17 and 25 have also made complaints of assault and rape.
The prosecution described the man as ‘reprehensible and ruthless’. He’s also been diagnosed as HIV positive, although the women have since tested negative.
The court in Lucerne heard the man raped the student in the back seat of his taxi in a car park in Kriens. She was only able to escape after 20 minutes. He claimed she was drunk.
