Uber ditches Pop service in Basel
Uber is axing its cut price UberPop service in Basel. The US company says it wasn’t profitable enough. The service has already been stopped in Lausanne and Zurich.

The pop service uses unlicensed drivers with any 4 door car. The other services, UberBlack and UberX will continue.
The Pop service will end in June next year. It’s been hit by a series of fines for using unlicensed drivers.
