Swiss media habits change
More Swiss youngsters are leaving Facebook and opting for Instagram instead.
Although Facebook remains the biggest social media platform in the country, with 70% of 15-24 year olds regularly posting – that is down 10% in a year.
But Instagram use is up 43% in the last three years.
Switzerland is also following the global trend on TV use. More people are ditching traditional television and using streaming services, such as Netflix.
A spokesman for the public Television service says they are following the trends closely and trying to adapt. Adrian Zaugg says many people will not return to traditional media.
