Tap dancing in Nyon; classes, shows and competitions

Nyon locals Olivia and Rebecca Grobéty are multiple world campions of tap dance. Students at their Centre de Danse OR will be competing this year in the Swiss Tap Championships to try to secure a spot in the upcoming World Championships. WRS spoke to Olivia and Rebecca on the Breakfast Show this morning about growing up dancing in Switzerland, and the showcases and shows planned over the coming weeks.
On Saturday 3rd September at 19:00, the 7-strong all female group The Rhythm Sisters featuring Olivia and Rebecca Grobéty, will be performing "Mesdames" - a show created by the company.
On Sunday 4th September at 16:00, the tap competition team from the Centre de Danse OR will perform all of the numbers that they will be performing at the Swiss Championships later in the month.
- both performances take place in Nyon at the "Théâtre de Marens".
Tap dancing lessons are available at the Centre de Danse OR in Nyon for children from 4-years old and adults - any level of experience welcome.
