This morning on the WRS Breakfast Show, Tamara from Kids-Zone.ch popped in to share some fabulous springtime outings for the whole family!
First up, the Morges Tulip Festival is back until May 11 at Parc de l’Indépendance. With over 140,000 tulips in bloom, it’s totally Instagram-worthy - and entry is free! Perfect for a sunny day. Don’t miss the weekend family events, and bring a picnic. Next, take a forest adventure at the Aubonne Arboretum. Just a 30-minute drive from Geneva or Lausanne, it offers scenic trails, 3,000+ tree species, and a wood museum. Entry is 10 CHF for adults, and kids go free. Then there’s the Geneva Botanical Gardens - a centrally located gem with tropical greenhouses, animals, and interactive kids’ trails. And finally, a short hop over the border takes you to Yvoire’s Jardin des Cinq Sens - a magical sensory garden in a medieval village.
