A group of Indian Expats in Switzerland are working hard to send oxygen concentrators and other essential breathing apparatus from Switzerland to India in an effort to help with the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
On the same day as the BBC World News reports that over quarter of a million deaths from Covid 19 have now been recorded in India, WRS talks to Dr Neerajana Doda about the emergency fundraiser that has been set up in Switzerland to ship crucial equipment to hospitals and patients in need. The volunteer team have now sent 51 oxygen concentrators to India so far and they plan to continue aid into the future.
Their fundraiser is currently up on the fundraising website 'gofundme' under "Please help India Breathe again!"
