'Boutique Theatre Basel' presents...

Listen Again

Thursday, 25 August 2022 - 6 minutes

"I Wish My Life Were Like a Musical" , by Alexander Bermange, is a hit musical revue from London.  On the heels of its sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Boutique Theatre Basel bring the raucous and hilarious theatre gem to Basel. Honoured as "Best Cabaret" at the West End Wilma Awards in 2018, this show promises to keep audiences laughing and cringing in their seats as they get a close look at the highs and lows of being an actor in the West End (or anywhere else, for that matter)!

Behind the scenes, things haven't been smooth sailing for the theatre troupe. Susan Brownfield has stepped into the role of Director after Boutique Theatre Basel's co-Founder and show Director Richard Brown sadly and suddenly passed away last month.

She explains the show and the dedication of the cast and crew to continue on with the production.
