Learn More: STEAM - not STEM
Hello and welcome to another edition of Learn More. Many parents are now familiar with STEM subjects – that’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, but now there’s STEAM – the A means Art – but in the broadest sense. The idea is to teach students how all the different disciplines can, and need, to come together for the best effects. Adrian Hirst from the Institute International de Lancy in Geneva explains the need for STEAM and also aquaponics – we all need to eat. And under this, the students can even eat in class.
