TinyTalk lets babies and toddlers communicate without speech

Mid Morning Mix // Family // May 13, 2020

TinyTalk is baby sign language. TinyTalk is based on British Sign Language (BSL), and gives babies and toddlers the opportunity to communicate basic needs and wants with the people around them, or even each other, without words.

In this interview on the Mid Morning Mix, TinyTalk teacher Kate Kaufman explains how she's seen babies tell parents about their demands, including things forgotten at mealtimes, and even babies communicating with each other...

TinyTalk has schools in Zurich and Geneva. They also operate online. Whether online, or in person when social distancing measures allow, TinyTalk encourages parents and children to socialise and practice the skills together.
