On the 10th June, over 1000 bikes are estimated to take to the 3 tracks as set out by UNICEF on their huge one-day fundraising drive. With their slogan for the day "No mountain is too high to save a child's life", this is an event for all abilities. CYCLING FOR CHILDREN is open to all, to do on your own or as part of a team, in a family or with colleagues.
There are several different course options; a 15km and 20km course, with a 420m and 750m climb in altitude, which can be completed multiple times - together or as a team.
Also, there is a 1.5km course in the village itself reserved for children between 6 and 13 years.
It's free to sign up at www.give-it-all.ch or www.donne-tout.ch
Then ask your friends and family for sponsorship!!
This drive will be the biggest drive in Switzerland to help against dirty water and malnutrition of children.
There are many local and international personalities who will participate in the event on the 10th June, including 2010 Tour de France winner Andy Schlek. IATA, Novelis, STMicroelectronics, Provimi, RTS and Hublot will take place as corporate teams.
At 13:30 the CEO departure takes place. Several business heads will be present and cycle off with the UCI head and the Director of UNICEF Suisse, Elsbeth Müller.
