Awake At Night: UNHCR stories from the field

Community // By Tay Kinnear // Nov. 26, 2018

Melissa Fleming, Head of Global Communications for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, hosts a new podcast where she asks extraordinary people what keeps them awake at night.

UNHCR Awake At Night: UNHCR stories from the field

Who are the people working in some of the toughest locations on the planet, such as Syria, Somalia and Afghanistan?

Melissa Fleming, in her podcast series, invites these people working on the frontline of serving refugees into the recording studio. Talking about some of the most challenging experiences that they've faced, she finds out the most incredible experiences that they've had on the job... and what keeps them awake at night.

Every Tuesday at 8pm, WRS will be playing the latest episode of Awake At Night, repeating again at 1pm on Sundays. But if you've missed it or just want to have another listen, go to the UNHCR website for direct access to the episodes.
