Mid Morning Mix // Art & Culture // May 12, 2017

A Billion Color Story is an independent film from India which will be shown at the Film Festival of 5 Continents.

The film tells the tale of a little boy whose Father is Muslim and whose Mother is Hindu. Mid Morning Mix presenter, Katt Cullen spoke with the film’s director Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy to find out more...

The 5 Continents Film Festival takes place between the 17th and 28th May. Films will be showcased throughout several cinemas in Geneva, and in neighbouring France: in Gex, Ferney Voltaire and Bellegarde sur Valserine.

This is 12 days of non-stop cinema, but also music, food, drink, exhibitions and discussions.

A Billion Colour Story is screening twice at the festival - on Monday 22nd and Wednesday 24th may. It's one of 45 films on the programme.

You can meet Padmakumar at the festival, with his son, who stars as the hero of the film, for a discussion and Q&A after the film.
