I am posting on behalf of my daughter, Amie aged 20 and currently studying Psychology at University of Warwick, will be here in Divonne from July 10th until end of August (possibly mid-September). She is looking for childcare or tutoring work. She has 3 summers experience of childcare and over 5 years of regular evening babysitting, with children of all ages. She is loving, calm, competent, creative, motivating, has a high level of conversational French, able to manage difficult behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques, she can prepare meals and provide all essential care for children (I taught her well ;) ) She cannot drive but is competent at using public transport with and without children. Amie has also tutored children during the holidays and is especially capable in providing support in introductory/conversational French. She has also done an amazing job this holiday in boosting her 9 year old sister's confidence in Mathematics. Amie is available for live in and live out work in Vaud, Geneva and neighbouring France. Due to her financial need to earn to support next years student living costs; Amie will prioritise jobs which are full days or long term in nature. She will also offer occasional day time work (3 hours minimum) once her agenda has been established. Evening babysitting is also possible. References can be made available.
