Presently, ski resorts are reporting excellent snow conditions at all altitudes, with little wind, but the northern bise is expected to arrive in the next 24 hours. Matthew Leighton gives the latest snow report and advises drivers to make sure that their cars are equipped with snow chains and a good battery:
