Swiss 'riverman' finishes long journey on rough waters
Andy Leemann and his crew just traveled more than 3,000 kilometers on one of the roughest rivers in the world. The Swiss-born Leemann is working with the Roll Back Malaria Partnership to distribute aid and mosquito nets to some of the most remote villages along the Zambezi River in Africa. World Radio Switzerland’s Alex Helmick has been following Leemann’s trip and caught up with the self-proclaimed “riverman,” who was in Cape Town, South Africa.
