Swiss registry under pressure over WikiLeaks.ch

Whether or not WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will get asylum in Switzerland is an open question, but his website has already made the move. WikiLeaks is now at WikiLeaks.ch, a Swiss domain name, after its main site, WikiLeaks.org, was taken down by its American host. The .ch suffix is administered by Switch, a non-profit registry operating with a mandate from the Federal Office of Communications. WRS’s Conor Lennon called on Switch spokesperson Marco d’Alessandro to find out more:
