Stabbing in Geneva brings to light Neo-Nazi subculture
Neo-Nazism is described as a subculture in Switzerland, but recent media reports say it is a growing one. The recent Fête de la Musique festival in Geneva was marred after a performer was stabbed following a fight between fascist and anti-fascist individuals. Roughly 200 people then took to Geneva streets to show their support for the victim. Was this attack an isolated incident or is the movement taking new roots? WRS’s Helena Humphrey puts this question to Professor Damir Skenderovic, from the University of Fribourg, who co-authored a report into the rise of the far right:
