Hydro energy keeps Switzerland green
Switzerland’s undulating terrain may be difficult to get around at times, but the mountains do hold a plentiful supply of potential energy, in the form of water. Hydroelectric plants produce 60 percent of the nation’s electricity - so it’s unsurprising that water is often called Switzerland’s most important natural resource. Vincent Landon took a tour of the Grimsel Power Station in the Bernese Oberland.
