Around 14,000 tickets for the concert at Zurich’s Hallenstadion on March 29 went on sale at 8am yesterday. Twenty-nine minutes later they were all gone. In a bid to avoid the chaotic scenes seen in Germany recently when tickets for AC/DC’s “Black Ice World Tour” went on sale at ticket outlets, Swiss vendor TicketCorner opted for online and telephone sales only. But that hasn’t stopped the Swiss Consumer Protection Association from kicking up a storm, after it was deluged by complaints from fans who missed out. Not least because dozens of tickets soon showed up on online auction sites eBay and Ricardo at more than five times their face value. WRS’s Adam Beaumont spoke to both the Swiss Consumer Protection Association and TicketCorner.

The same thing happend in the UK with all gigs selling out in less than 30 mins, only 2 tickets per person allowed, yet in hours ebayers where selling up to 20 tickets at a time at 4 times the face value, I’m a die hard acdc fan whos seen gigs during the last 4 tours by acdc but this time I didnt get a ticket, I only hope ACDC put on more shows in the UK because I’ll be damnd if Im gona pay some scally £200 for a ticket, If ACDC where getting the £200 I’d pay it gladly, but I will not line the pockets of ebay SCUM!!
The only way they can battle this is by serial numbering the tickets to a individual name and canceling any ticket sold on ebay etc…. Or cancel any ticket been sold for more then face value on ebay….
