Abu Dhabi's 'Swiss village' set for construction
On the outskirts of the United Arab Emirates’ capital city Abu Dhabi, the world’s first carbon-neutral, zero-waste city is rising in the desert. Few countries are watching the construction of Masdar - as it is known - as eagerly as Switzerland, because from next year, building begins on a Swiss neighbourhood in the heart of the city.
