The Swiss Broadcasting Corporation says it will pull out of the social media platform ‘X’ – formerly known as Twitter.
The corporation has 15 different accounts covering different radio, TV stations, programmes and news.
The corporation says since it was bought by Elon Musk, the platform is being held hostage by trolls and bots and is subject to hate campaigns, so dialogue with their followers is no longer possible.
It will retain its corporate account, @radiotelesuisse so it can monitor activity and respond if necessary.
